My son loves this outfit for playing in the rain. He got to stomp in puddles and was completely dry when he came home and I took off the suitThese suits are perfect to keep kiddos dry in the rainy seasons. We absolutely love our and also used them at the beach during the spring when you go to find shells and not to play in the water. Perfect to layer over warmer clothes too! We've now used this for 3 straight years (2 for my oldest son and then passing it down to my second son), and it has held up in hours of rain numerous times. My kids love it. It's easy to put on them. They stay dry. It's not so baggy that they can't wear it by itself, but if we want to put a jacket or coat underneath, it works well to do so. I came back to buy another one because my son who grew out of it is jealous and gets his pants wet in just his rain jacket wants another, and I will definitely buy this brand again because it has been durable and waterproof for years of use. Highly recommended. If you are considering a suit like this, you will not regret purchasing this rain suit. We have 4 of them total for our kids and holy moly, do they get used! So far they have been mud suits, rain suits and thrown over sweatpants for snow suits (PNW, anyone?). They also make a good windbreaker while at the beach, at the same time preventing sand everywhere. The construction is very sturdy, I haven't had an issue with leaking or holes. My boy sits in the puddle and he does get some water up his pant leg but why is he even sitting in the puddle anyways? My kids wear them and stand under the gutter downspouts. They also ride their bikes in the rain and have a blast.Do I need an adult one? Maybe. I haven't bought one yet because I'm enjoying the peace and quiet inside the house with the excuse that I don't own raingear. No shame in the game!I purchased two of these suits. A size 8/9 for my 6 year old that is 49in and 52lbs. It fits him absolutely perfectly. Unfortunately, i don’t think it’ll last him another season because he’s so tall, and the inseam is snug already, but I can tell it is made well enough that it will last for years and I can pass it down to younger siblings. The other I purchased is a size 5 for my 4 year old, whom I don’t have his exact measurements on hand but he is sort of small for his age (40th percentile) and wears an assortment of size 4t and 5t, depending on the brand. The size 5 fits my 4 year old very well, and will definitely last him at least another year (I wanted these to last as the kids grow). Before I purchased these, I tried a different off brand. They were significantly cheaper. They were winter solstice presents for my kids. Well, they headed out to play in them and immediately got soaked through. Thus, I had to return them. I decided I needed to suck it up and spend the money on the OAKI ones, and I’m certainly glad I did. These are incredibly well made. The stitches are even lined! There’s a cinching waist so it doesn’t have to look like your kids are puffy marshmallows if they’re not wearing a ton of layers underneath. We live in a hot, southern state, so these will be for our plentiful rain storms and facilitate more mud/outside play. I was tired of constantly hand-hosing out muddy clothes (gotta rinse the dirt off, or else an overload of dirt can ruin your washer), wringing them out, then carrying them inside just to see their clothes/bathing suits be stained after washing/drying.Of course we are in a dry spell right now, so no current rain/mud to play in, but we can’t wait for a rainy day! These suits are so legit. I don’t regret one nickel! I don’t think they are very breathable, but my kids are not gonna mind when they get to lay in all the mud puddles they want. The only thing more I could want for is adjustments to the hood- you cannot tighten it down from what I can see. The fabric is wonderful and seems worth the cost (had also ordered and returned Muddy Buddy as it was cheaply made, poor fit, and seemed very hot to wear)This covering has kept our grandson dry during his "Forest Preschool" class and is roomy enough for layers of extra clothes during the unpredictable weather around Chicago area. he has rolled down muddy hills, buried himself in wet leaves and jumped in puddles that would have had him drenched in seconds. While the bottom of his pants have been wet when he wore regular shoes, if he wears boots, he is completely dry. The torso is great for him being able to move without feeling restricted. He wears a size 7 and we bought this in a 8-9. It looks like it will last him a year, with normal growth. The arm and leg openings have Velcro to cinch it in. The feet have a strip to secure it under the instep, if you would like. The waist also has a cinch tie to keep it from billowing out. We love the reinforced knees and stress points. With so many folks walking around in the fall at dusk in dark clothes, we feel this is a must when we go for walks, as the color and reflectors help him to be seen from far away. We tried other brands and returned them due to material, fit or overall quality. This one is a winner!I really like this rain suit because it does run a little bit bigger. My daughter is a fairly large child so it’s nice to have something that she’ll be able to wear for a couple years especially considering the price. We live in an extremely rainy climate so rain suits are a must here. She stays dry when she’s wearing this and we’ve never had an issue. She’s also not a very gentle child and so far it’s held up well to all her running and jumping. Holds up in the wash when washed with like clothing but I would say if you had an agitator in the middle of your wash machine the elastic could possibly get caught on that. We don’t have a washer like that. I enjoy the fact that you can adjust the arms and the legs and also the waist. You will need to make sure your kiddo has warm clothes underneath as it doesn’t give any warmth protection. But it definitely stands up against the PNW rain. We will be passing this One down to her little brother once she grows out and re-purchasing a new one.Fantastic rain jacket!! Excellent quality and my favorite feature is the Velcro that secures the suit to the rubber boots. An incredible product for my child to wear to school.Great for camping or if you live in the woods. Light. Big enough to wear layers underneathI love this one piece for my son.. its super bright well made..and I hope that we will get lots of wear out of it.Awesome customer service and quality Very happy with purchase.I bought two of these for my boys (4&2) and they are AMAZING. The suits keep them warm and dry and they're adorable to boot! My only complaint is that I wish I could buy one for myself!
