My kindergartener loves this jacket. It’s lightweight but warm, and water resistant. It’s washed up beautifully even after having chocolate milk and honey spilled on it. He loves that there are 4 outside pocket and an inside pocket for all of his various treasures. The fleece-lined hood convenient to flip up if he doesn’t want to wear an actual hat. I love that it retains heat so well, because I can use a trick that involves layering a fleece that’s warm from the dryer under it, and the warmth really lasts. I know it’s not the least expensive coat out there, but he loves it, and I think it was worth every penny.Its fairly warm, the thumb slits are great and the material is great quality. I love the big hood but my son hates it, and the hood doesnt have anything to tighten or fasten in the front. I always do my research before buying so it took me like 2 weeks to pick this one outThis is a VERY nice coat. Durable. Quality materials and design. I like that the hood is large and has fleece lining. A large hood means you can put it up over a hat and the head can still move freely. Columbia stuff is worth the $ if you want quality.Fantastic jacket! My 7 year old loves it. Great for snow playing here in Alaska and for snowboarding! Thick, fleece lined hood, and inner snaps to keep snow from getting in. We love Columbia snow gear!!Jacket is warm and waterproof. We had to size up as Medium was too small. I expect to get 2 years of wear, especially considering the grow system.Just what I was looking for. Lightweight but super warm. My son can move around in it without it becoming cumbersome. It also has the ability to grow with your child via a labelled line of stitching that we the parents would just cut out to release more fabric & more room. Great feature and a good coat that actually keeps your kids dry & warm.Was too small so I returned it and was never refunded . Worst experience ever
